In nice used condition this French World War 1 ''Croix de Guerre'' with Ribbon.
The last number of each cross states the year of issue.
The medals had been awarded to military personnel who demonstrated
exceptional performance before the enemy.
The medals are the following:

-Cross of War 1915 with Ribbon

-Cross of War 1916 with Ribbon and bronze star
-Cross of War 1916 with Ribbon and 3 bronze palm, 1 silver palm, 3 bronze palm and 1 silver star
(These medals are dated 1916. may well have been given for action at Verdun)

-Cross of War 1917 with Ribbon, citation and bronze star
-Cross of War 1917 with Ribbon and citation

-Cross of War 1918 with Ribbon and silver star
-Cross of War 1918 with Ribbon and gold star
-Small Cross of War 1918 with Ribbon and 2 palms
