British Airborne Container Parachute 'Red'

In nice used condition this British Airborne Container Parachut 'Red coloured parachute'.
The RAF had two simple pieces of equipment for dropping stores. One was a small metal container were this container parachute was tied to.
The colours of the parachutes are believed to correspond with the contents of the containers. The Red parachutes where known to have been used for ammunition and small arms.
