Hauptmann Müller was an experienced pilot, having completed 8 combat missions in the West, primarily with the Heinkel He 111. Over the course of his service, he flew numerous training/land flights with other aircraft types, including the Heinkel He 111, Junkers Ju 88, Go. 145, and Kl 35.
His flights covered a wide geographical area across Europe, including training/land flights over Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and Sicily.
