This example is nicely marked 'OI' (Overton-Inland) the markers can find back on this example as usual in the 'Barrel Channel' and 'underside of the pistol grip'.
The inside of the metal buttplate had a drawing number cast 'B257614' and 'circle' marked (wagon wheel) and followed by digit number '12'.

Clearly untouched this British Airborne Paratrooper Helmet which is maker marked 'BMB Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd, Dagenham'. and dated 1944.
The size is 7+ unefortunately damaged by mice.
Further the helmet retains 90% of the original paint and it is never been cleaned!

In very nice condition a Tall German Messkit M31 'Kochgeschirre' which retains 90% of the original Field-Green 'Feldgrau' paint.
It is nicely maker marked 'M6/35/39 RZM', the field-grey messkits were probably used by the Waffen-SS.
